As a Microsoft Windows 10 user, you already have a default browser in it namely Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge is an easy-to-use, faster, more secure browser in Windows 10 and designed for the modern web. Most users of Microsoft Windows 10 no longer need to install the other browsers because they are quite satisfied with the Microsoft Edge performance.

Every time you browse the web, the URLs of the web pages you visit is saved by Microsoft Edge in the form of browsing history. The browsing history is actually useful. When you revisit the web pages you previously visited but have forgotten the URLs, you can make use of the browsing history saved.

But one of the drawbacks about the browsing history is that your privacy becomes distracted. If the computer you are using is also used by others, others will be able to see all the web pages you've visited. If you care about your privacy, you should delete your browsing history.

Deleting the browsing history in Microsoft Edge is easy. You also have an option to do it automatically. Every time you exit the browser, your browsing history will be automatically deleted for you. By default, this feature is not active. To activate this feature, you need to do setting change, here are how:

Open Microsoft Edge, click the Settings and more button located at the upper right corner (1), and then select Settings (2).

Scroll down to the Clear browsing data section (1) and then click the Choose what to clear button (2).

Check the check boxes whose data you want to clear (1) and then set the toggle button from Off to On (2).
