A browser is a web application to display web pages. Almost certainly every PC has more than one browser. Among some browsers already installed, there will be one browser that becomes your favorite browser. Currently, three browsers with the most users are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

Of the three major browsers, Google Chrome is still the most widely used. Google Chrome has two versions, Google Chrome 32-bit and Google Chrome 64-bit. For Microsoft Windows 64-bit, it automatically gets Google Chrome 64-bit. When you initially use Google Chrome 32-bit, Google Chrome will automatically upgrade to a 64-bit version when an automatic update occurs.

Google Chrome 64-bit has advantages related to stability, performance, and security compared to Google Chrome 32-bit. Google Chrome 64-bit will take advantage of the availability of large RAM that is common in Microsoft Windows 64-bit. However, there is no guarantee that Google Chrome 64-bit will run without issue on Microsoft Windows 64-bit.

In Windows 10, one of the issues that may arise is that Google Chrome's screen often turns black for a while and then returns to normal. Sometimes before the screen turns black, it will start with a hang for a while. This is quite disturbing. When you're streaming a video and the Google Chrome screen turns black for a while, the video will play again from scratch.

This issue can't be fixed by reinstalling or restarting Google Chrome. Perhaps, this issue arises because of incompatibility with the operating system. If you also encounter a similar issue in Windows 10, you can try to fix by setting compatibility to Windows 7. Here is how to do it:

On the desktop screen, right-click the Google Chrome icon (1) to display the shortcut menus and then select Properties (2).
